Our client, a renowned designer, and manufacturer of molded pulp packaging solutions committed to 100% recycled materials, is seeking an Account Executive to shape their destiny. Our client stands at the forefront of environmental consciousness in packaging solutions. As a pioneer in producing molded pulp products made exclusively from recycled materials, they've positioned themselves as a key player in the industry. With manufacturing plants located in IA and TX, they're well-prepared to create a positive shift toward eco-friendly packaging. As the Account Executive, you'll play a crucial role in driving the company's commitment to environmental sustainability. Your efforts will align seamlessly with the evolving corporate landscape where ecological concerns drive packaging decisions and define corporate success. This role can be remote, providing you with flexibility, but it's essential to note that extensive training at both manufacturing locations will be an integral part of the onboarding process.
The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in supporting the execution of our client's strategic sales plan to achieve business revenue goals. Working in close collaboration with the Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as cross-functional teams in Engineering and Operations, this position will be responsible for identifying and developing new business prospects and markets.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of production and pricing processes within the packaging industry.
- Achieve a track record of success in consistently building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential clients. Proactively identify and engage with prospects, nurturing leads from initial contact to successful closure.
- Exhibit a strong capability to foster meaningful relationships with key customers within the industry. Additionally, demonstrate adeptness in collaborating internally with engineering teams across manufacturing plants to ensure seamless communication and alignment on customer requirements.
- Continuously enhance technical proficiency through close collaboration with engineering teams. Develop an in-depth understanding of both pre-purchase order (PO) and post-PO customer interactions, ensuring smooth and effective conversations. Strive for proficiency in both relationship building and technical acumen to present a cohesive and competent team to customers.
- Exhibit a commitment to nurturing long-term relationships with clients beyond the initial sale. Take ownership in ensuring client satisfaction, addressing any concerns, providing ongoing support, fostering trust and loyalty
Qualifications That Set You Apart
- 3 + years of experience and a proven track record in Sales and Marketing, showcasing your prowess in driving new business.
- Passionate about weaving environmental sustainability into the fabric of the packaging industry. Packaging sales experience is a plus.
- The urge to make a lasting mark within a rapidly growing sector.
- Hunter mentality and demonstrated success in logo acquisition
- Technical proficiency through close collaboration with engineering teams
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and business systems software.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant discipline preferred.
