Job Summary

The HR Manager, Employee Services & Benefits is primarily responsible for supporting and servicing internal and external stakeholders with exceptional service while representing the company in the most professional manner.   Fostering and integrating our core values into the daily work, this position will provide a high level of support to the Director, Human Resources as it relates to the needs and services of our employees.

Additional primary responsibilities include managing the company benefits plans, 3rd party affiliates and the integrity of the company HRIS. In addition, this position will support and assist in the implementation of various human resources programs, to meet the needs of employees, achieving the departments responsibilities and initiatives that strategically support the overall goals of the organization.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Provide the highest level of service and care in every aspect of their work and represent the company with professionalism when interacting and supporting all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in supporting, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s culture by being an ambassador for change and by playing an essential role in ensuring engagement and retention of an organization that is deliberately developing its employees both personally and professionally.
  • Direct and manage the full life cycle of the yearly benefit implementation and/or renewal process of employee health benefit plans, including but not limited to plan design/set up, evaluation of benefit contracts, financial impact on the business and the company-wide roll out to ensure the corporate benefits offering are diverse and competitive.
  • Primary contact for benefit related inquiries and collaborates with 3rd party administrators and benefits carriers to perform a high level of benefits administration as it relates to claims resolution, benefits reporting in HRIS, and managing system carrier connection process for Open Enrollment along with immediate resolution of any weekly reporting file feed errors from individual carriers  
  • Manage the integrity of the company HRIS as it relates to benefits, electronic benefit feeds and organizational structure.  
  • Manage through a 3rd party, all Leave of Absence requests as it relates to federal and state laws, ensure all leave is tracked properly and documentation is complete. 
  • Collaborate with HR, Director to develop, maintain and update the new hire onboarding program and provide administrative support to on and off boarding process.
  • Manage full life cycle of recruiting efforts for specific positions from evaluation of résumés, scheduling, coordinating and conducting interviews  and references checks in order to determine viable candidates for hiring manager.   
  • Manage employment file, records and human resources documents related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, compensation, or promotions to ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with all laws.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on company’s payroll processing and collaborate with Payroll & Human Resources Specialist to review and approve bi-weekly payroll and process, serving as the primary support to Payroll. 
  • Co-lead Employee Moral Team to create and develop company sponsored events that increase employee engagement, moral and support our company culture.

Required Skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development or equivalent
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the management and administration of benefits
  • Proven experience providing superlative service and care as it relates to servicing the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Must have ADP Workforce Now experience
  • Must be extremely detailed oriented
