Responsibilities
Achieve Success in 2024 with These Key Performance Deliverables:
- Master Company Tours and Experiences: Obtain deep knowledge to effectively showcase and promote offerings.
- Be prepared to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding, demonstrating self-direction and readiness to drive sales.
- Effectively qualify prospects to ensure optimal lead generation.
- Nourish connections with ideal client profiles through dedicated and persistent prospect follow-up, nurturing leads towards conversion.
- Achieve a minimum of 300 annual sales, with 350 being outstanding and 400 being exceptional.
- Generate sales through active prospecting for new business via cold calling, inbound leads, referrals, and repeat customers
- Provide exceptional pre- and post-sales support to clients
- Cultivate long-lasting relationships with our sophisticated customer base
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the tours: itineraries, hotels, terrain, cultural attractions and all other trip information to effectively convert leads into sales
- Collaborate with our European trip designers to craft personalized group tours
- Contribute to marketing efforts by providing insights and feedback
- Leveraging Hubspot and Filemaker Pro to maximize lead conversion
- Actively engage with customers and prospects through social media platforms

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of sales experience in the travel industry or related fields
- Exceptional communication skills
- First-hand knowledge of Europe, particularly Italy
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and deliver top-notch customer service
- Familiarity with HubSpot, FileMaker, or other CRM systems
- Comfortable working independently, minimal need for onboarding, training or teamwork experience
- Extensive travel experience in Europe
- Proficiency in Italian, French, or Spanish is a plus
- Experience in writing email newsletters
- Previous bicycle tour guiding experience
