Sales Recruiters has been retained by a stable, well-reputed industrial concern that is financially stable that is increasing its sales force in the next one to two years. Our client provides high-quality market-leader steel services, processing, and fabrications through supply chain management systems, custom-tailored pricing solutions, and inventory management programs. This position is a full-time employee position with very compensation (base salary plus commissions/bonus) and a substantial benefit and time off component.
Key Performance Deliverables for Success in 2023: (Attainable to Accomplish for The Right Mindset Sales Professional)
Ability to make 100 outbound calls per week (20 calls to existing clients and/or market contacts per day) (very realistic for non-industry inside salespeople
75 quotes of the companies for services and products to existing, new, and long-standing customers and market prospects (very realistic for non-industry inside salespeople)
Tonnage goal of 1,300 tons of steel per month (very realistic for non-industry inside salespeople)
Able to develop, self-monitor, and execute calls list and projects to keep current clients in the loop and reach out to new possible prospects that match the company client avatar
Use voice mail and email messaging to effectively manage the continued communication with the customer and prospects
Consistently remaining in the eyes of the clients, prospects, and customers by maintaining continual contact to solicit spot buy opportunities for immediate and near-immediate company service ad product offerings.
Help support and provide input on marketing plan/penetration efforts for your own territory
Comfortable with keeping current in CRM (SalesForce and Steelman) database updating
Enjoy creating effective written (like composing professional letters and emails) and utilizing electronic methods of communication to increase contact opportunities with customers.
Able to speak with parties and find information missing on buying patterns, current usage of products and services
Establish with current customer own favorable relationships with customers on master orders.
Help determine the credit-worthiness of prospects
Capable of learning and becoming proficient on aspects of the components of the pricing including services, products, skid weights, shipping truckload shipment
CRM and Technology Savvy
Ability to use email, phone, and other modes of communication to create and maintain a relationship and connection for current, near term and future ongoing business in a reorder environment
Able to consultative ask questions to determine client needs
Comfortable using basic math skills to determine cost profit and margins
Excellent Time Management Skills
Able to juggle multiple priorities
Strong customer service orientation with a courteous, professional, and energetic attitude
Ability to accept rejection or overcome objections from clients, and prospects
