This role covers a high-potential Northeast region, including: Harrisburg, PA through Eastern PA (Phila), NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, and ME. Preferred locations from Worcester to Hartford to Danbury to New Haven.
Responsibilities
Key Performance Objectives (What Success Looks Like In The Position)
- Quota Attainment of $1.3
- Embrace and be proficient in the CRM System for the prospect/client
- Maintain CRM system accuracy, generating leads, and meeting quota
- Maintain consistent and transparent lead generation efforts
- Focused reporting and sales coordination efforts to maintain and build territory
- Foster a positive perception and relationship with and among distributors
- Balancing day-to-day revenue opportunities to ensure success.
- Quota achievement at six and twelve month evaluation points.
As our Northeast Regional Sales Manager, you will be the face of the company in a strategically important region. Your mission is to develop deep customer relationships, grow distribution partnerships, and champion advanced assembly solutions.
- Daily activities will include phone call, visiting accounts, prospecting, interacting with distributors, technical problem solving and quoting.
- Lead the regional sales strategy, creating and executing plans that drive sustainable growth and long-term competitive advantage.
- Build powerful customer and distributor relationships, understanding key needs and aligning our solutions to support their goals.
- Expand market presence by developing new target accounts and strengthening partnerships with distributors, manufacturer reps, and major end-users.
- Stay ahead of the market through ongoing competitor analysis, industry research, and real-time awareness of customer opportunities.
- Leverage CRM and reporting tools to track activities, manage pipeline, and deliver accurate forecasts.
- Work with diverse personalities within distribution partners, balancing large accounts and daily revenue generation.
- Strong collaboration and influence across internal and external stakeholders.
- Skill in building pipelines, setting quotas, and executing territory plans.
Required Skills
Ideal qualifications include:
- B.S. in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of quota-exceeding sales success in relevant industrial or technical markets.
- Strong experience with distribution channel management; MRO/industrial background preferred.
- A proven ability to penetrate new accounts and grow existing ones.
- An existing book of business is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and the ability to coordinate across teams to win key opportunities.
- Hunter mentality, resilience, persistence, proactive, tech savvy, self motivated, adaptable and have a positive mindset.
- A passion for innovation—particularly in torque control, precision fastening, Industry 4.0, and automated assembly.
