Our client is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Territory Sales Representative based in the Chicagoland market to promote and sell health and medical supplies to School Districts, Head Start programs, and Community Action agencies. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and acting as a trusted advisor to organizations that support children and communities. Success in this role requires a consultative sales approach, consistent outbound activity, and the ability to understand and respond to the unique operational and compliance needs of education and community-based organizations. This position requires travel; 5-7 overnight stays every 4-6 weeks to Texas and California.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound prospecting activity (approximately 200 calls per week) to generate new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent follow-up, account management, and CRM documentation
  • Present, demonstrate, and explain product solutions in a way that aligns with customer needs, safety standards, and budget requirements
  • Attend and represent the company at state and national conferences, trade shows, and industry events
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and post-sale relationship management
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and key performance indicators
  • Establish long-term partnerships with customers to drive repeat business and account growth

Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in sales (inside or outside sales, B2B preferred), 2-5 Years of business to business sales
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Effective time management and ability to manage a high-activity sales schedule
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and basic computer applications
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Ability to travel for conferences and customer meetings as needed; 5-7 overnight stays every 4-6 weeks to Texas and California.
